What to Eat in Asia

Premium Dining on Every Tour

Asian cuisine is as diverse as the continent. From the kebab and baklava in Turkey and Israel to the lentil and rice dishes throughout Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka, Asian food will be a huge part of your travel experience.

Indian and Sri Lankan versions of curry are similar: expect coriander leaves and fenugreek seeds in both. Northern India curries use more meats and butter, while Southern makes creative use of seafood and seasonal vegetables.

Manti is a dumpling you’ll find from Turkey through West and Central Asia. As simple as it is delicious: small, spiced meats baked in dough and served with a sauce.

While in Jordan, eat as the Bedouin do with a plate of mansaf. The country’s national dish is a lightly-spiced lamb meat served with fluffy rice and yogurt jameed sauce.

Learn More About Asia

Did You Know?

Asia comprises nearly 1/3 of Earth's land mass.

Asia is the largest continent on the planet and is home to the most people. Russia and China alone are the largest and most populous nations on the planet. More than half of the world’s population lives in Asia’s 49 countries; an Asian tour could begin as far West as Turkey’s border with Europe or as far East as Japan. The only continent in the world with more countries is Africa at 55.
