Travel Tips for New Years Eve
New Year’s Eve is a universally popular event, so prepare for crowds if you’re planning on being in a population center. It’s also worth considering booking in advance, especially if you want to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a particular destination on a particular date.
There will likely be events being held wherever you are at the time, so if there’s something that you'd like to take part in, ask your Travel Director if they can help arrange it. Different countries celebrate New Year’s Eve and the countdown to the New Year in different ways – for example, in Spain, it’s traditional to eat one grape for each chime of the clock at midnight. While in Romania, there’s a custom for dressing up as bears to chase away evil spirits.
